When our little friend M stayed with us a couple of weekends ago, she drew me this card during Sunday School. She wrote my name, and it is a sweet treasure to see how that smart little girl has blossomed in school this year.
N has been building things on his own. He made this sign and painted it to put in our garden
Here is where we buried our first pet, our hamster Chinie. The kids wrote love notes to her on rocks to place around her headstone/woodblock ;)
Daddy C and the kids have lots of fun things planted....I just hope they will survive all this hard rain and wind we are having. They have worked so hard getting it ready.
We have 2 beds this size....if it goes well, he plans on expanding with 1 or 2 more next year.

One night, when we had bad storms headed our way, Daddy was getting together an emergency bag to keep in our safe room just in case we needed it. The kids got anxious, and packed up all their favorite things....and attached them to their body! I am not sure they would have all fit in the tub with all that on! Luckily, it never got bad enough to find out that night.....another night got very scary where we all piled in the tub.
N also built a frame for a club house....I think I forgot to get a final picture with it finished. It had this tarp over it for shelter...he was so proud of his project when he was done!
